Shorepound

I just finished this painting today.  (Well, I think it's done.  I'll check it again in a few days to make sure)  And I've already started another one.  It feels good to be inspired and want to paint again.

I spent the other day playing in the shore break at Marine Street.  (As you can tell from my painting)  Being in the water felt so good.  I can't believe the water temperature is still hovering around 70 degrees in November.   The water in San Diego has been around 70 ever since June.  That is the warmest the water has been, and for the longest time, in my whole life.  Its really something to have things a little out of the ordinary - and better.  Because usually when things are different, its not better.  This is like a little gift.  I was able to play around in the shore pound long enough to get some fun shots.  This is the first painting I'll do from that day.  And I'm pretty excited to do some more.
