Morning Lip

This painting has been so fun for me.  Not only does it remind me of a really fun early morning in the fall at Blacks, it has become like a friend to me.  I video recorded this painting as I was doing it, and edited it for youtube, and I've watched the video so many times.  I still enjoy seeing how it was done.  And, it won a second place prize for me at a show at San Diego Hospice gallery.  I love the early morning sun reflecting off the water, and the fog by the cliffs still trying to hang around.  Plus I love the fact that the wave is empty.  It makes me realize that we can still get good waves in San Diego.
